Digital Asset Management for Masi Agricola

MASI Agricola S.p.a. is an important company from Verona, with international dimension. It produces Amarone and other fine wines sold in over 120 countries.

The international development of the business has increased the complexity in the management of communication materials such as images and videos. It was necessary a management of all the corporate communication assets in a more centrally and efficiently way.

CHALLENGE

Masi needs a Digital Asset Management to place in order all the communication materials accumulated over the years, to keep them easily updated and to use it without wasting time and resources.
Furthermore, thanks to DAM, the files must be available to distributors worldwide in a controlled, safe and at the same time, easy way.

SOLUTION

For Masi, the eTEAM’s DAM module has been configured, in order to meet all the requirements. In addition, the software includes also other features and functions deemed interesting, including:

• Converting image files
• Access to research saved results and always updated them dynamically
• Possibility to use the Google tagging service
• Management of the state of life and the type of use of the file
• Collection management

With eTEAM’s DAM, a workflow with conditioned accesses has been set up for load and validate the images. Photographers have limited access to the platform. They may upload images in low resolution, diversifying the tag according to events.
The images follow a defined workflow set to Masi's needs and each shot uploaded into eTEAM, undergo through a processing status.
The communication office checks the images and makes the choice. The photographer replaces the low resolution images selected with the high resolution ones. Furthermore, the collections are available for the network of distributors worldwide.
